Join Nourish for a FREE family-friendly community dinner on Mon. Oct. 15th at Trinity United Church, 360 Reid Street. All are welcome, but please be sure to REGISTER.

Doors open at 5 PM, and dinner will be served at 5:30 PM.

2018's World Food Day theme is #ZeroHunger by 2030.

We're excited to announce that Elaine Power will be joining us! After dinner she will deliver a talk titled, "Beyond Food Banks: Income is the Solution to Hunger".

Elaine Power is an associate professor in the School of Kinesiology & Health Studies at Queen’s University. She teaches courses on the social determinants of health, the food system, critical weight studies and qualitative research methods. Her research focuses on food, poverty, and health. Elaine lives in Kingston with her daughter Claire and their cat Daisy and likes to grow vegetables in her back yard. She is a founding member of the Kingston Action Group for a Basic Income Guarantee.
