Homemade Fresh Whole Wheat Pasta

Make your own fresh, whole wheat pasta with this simple, easy to follow recipe!

large eggs
1⁄3 cups
whole wheat flour
2⁄3 cups
all purpose flour

1) Using a fork, whisk together the flours in a medium-sized bowl. Make a well in the centre of the flour.2) Crack the eggs into the well of the flour. Whisk with a fork to break up the eggs.3) Continue whisking with the fork to bring more flour into the well in the centre.4) When it comes together as a dough, stop using the fork. Lightly flour a cutting board and place the dough on it.5) Use your hands to knead the dough for 5 - 8 minutes, until smooth and elastic.6) Cover with plastic wrap to allow the glutens to rest for 15 minutes.7) Prepare the pasta machine with a light dusting of flour and get a large pot of water to boil. Season the boiling water with salt.8) Divide the pasta dough into 6 pieces. Flatten each piece out and roll through the machine as per demo. Allow to the pasta to dry on clean towels until you are ready to cook dinner.9) Fresh pasta takes only about 3 minutes to cook in boiling water.
