Unfortunately, all Nourish programming has been cancelled for the foreseeable future in response to the COVID-19 situation.
We at Nourish are worried about our community at this time, particularly since many of you are part of vulnerable populations. As you know, what matters to us most is that people are able to feed themselves and their families well and with dignity. We are now exploring how we can modify our approach so that we can continue to provide support and advocate for good food for all. As an organization whose work also revolves around building belonging, we understand that having limited contact with others isn’t easy at the best of times. We want you to know that we are all in this together, so we are reaching out to check on you and see how you are doing.
In addition to making sure you receive regular updates about COVID-19 from Peterborough Public Health, Nourish is doing an assessment of needs around access to healthy food among all participants to see if there are any ways that we can be supportive. Whether or not you are in need of support, please fill out the first question in this survey if you would like to offer something to the community.
