It highlghts key points about the importance of local food systems. First, that they make communities more resilient in the face of future challenges to agriculture. Second, it helps a community to sustain itself when everyone takes part. Third, the local food is good food: fresh, tasty, wholesome, and in grown in the amazing variety that the region’s climate allows.
